Massively posted a nice developer video diary from the guys of Trion Worlds who are currently working on Rift Planes of Telara. The Video is introducing The soul tree, which is ladder that splits up and enables abilities according to souls you handle. They Speak about gaining, changing of souls in common as well.

Gamigo , Publisher of the Jumpgate like MMO ” Black Prophecy ” that is currently in Beta Status revealed that they are going to start the game in November 2010. According to Gamigo it is not yet clear if this will be an Open Beta or the actual start of the Game ( but since it is a free 2 play game it is probably both).
Nevertheless Gamigo stated that there will be more Gameplay Scenes revealed on this years GamesCom (August 19 -22 2010) in Cologne/Germany. Here the E3 Trailer
Here is a five minute taking documentary about the Soundtrack that is coming along with TOR. Speaking for me , i have always been a huge fan of the Star Wars Soundtracks and the work of John Williams. They say that there will be about 5 Hours of Music in the Game. I hope we’ll see some gameplay scenes soon and see how the music fits into the environment. After watching several gameplay movies of FFXIV , Ingame Music already annoys me. Here is the video, anyway.

I didn’t watch it all. but if you are very much into FFXIV, grab a bag of popcorn , dismiss the latest episode of the IT Crowd and watch 5 hours of FFXIV instead. Since the videos are quiete “new” you should get the idea of the current Gameplay.
Frogster, well known for their participation in ” Runes of Magic ” a free 2 play MMO , are distributing the former ” TERA, the Exiled Realms or Arborea” by the simple name ” TERA” in western Europe. That made Gamers pick their ears up because most of them would like to avoid TERA to become Free 2 Play. According to Frogster, TERA will not be Free 2 Play
Tera, Announced for 2011 is develpoed by Bluehole Studios (Korea) and is fully set up with the Unreal 3 Engine. We already had a few articles about Tera Gameplay Videos but this thread at Terafans.com is really great Sumup.
Yesterday ArenaNet revealed their new class, the Ranger. The Community was guessing for weeks what the new class could be since ArenaNet denied the existence of a specific healer class.
