Realtime Worlds announced their new MMO Project called Project: Myworld. RTW is well known as Developer for All Points Bulletin. So, there is not much information about Project: Myworld in General on the official website . But there is a descripition that caught my attention . it is like ” What would it look like if Nintendo built Google Earth?”. They also put up a video that gives a little insight in the games Basic idea, which is , to connect a MMO world ( which is a recreation of the actual real world!) with social media engines like Facebook and Twitter. I recently had a discussion with friends about that social media stuff and how or rather when it will infect the gaming and MMO Scene. Guess i have my answer now. The idea made me curious anyway, so lets hope there will be more detail on the whole Project in the next weeks.

Trion Worlds grabbed into their treasure of Information again and Showed the Community a Video , introducing the zone “Gloamwood” a very gloomy and dangerous place , since the folks that inhabit that area are not looking like someone you’d invite for tea and cookies. Additionally there is a link below , featuring an interview with Scott Hartsman about Rifts Social System , Housing and Crafting.

Bioware is currently not just into SWTOR, they are also pretty busy with Dragon Age 2. Gameinformer had the chance to get a little insight into the Game Making Process and Put up a video about. Since there is not a Trailer available ( set up for 8/17/10) , these are the first moving pictures of the game.
Youtube user and NS2 alpha tester LOLitsJono uploaded footage with first impressions from the game tests. Here is the description of the video:
I don’t think there is an applicable NDA but I will say this: This game is freaking AMAZING. Kudos to the engine design, artistic look, and adhering to core NS gameplay we’ve come to expect.
This is an ALPHA (before Beta!) so obviously there’s problems. This honestly my most anticipated shooter of 2010 (assuming they can deliver before Holiday 2010) The video is just as I finish loading after joining a server, I try to take you through the game to give you guys an idea of how the game plays. Obviously since the game is in Alpha, there are lots of bugs, missing animatons, low resolution textures, performance issues and efficiency, lacking all engine features and technologies, Missing models, gameplay balance, etc.

Arche Age Is an Upcoming MMO from XLGames, a Korean Developer. The Game is in its third year of development and the Closed Beta started on 19. of July in Korea ( up to now , only there). The features, as far as i see , especially the housing and crafting abilities will be very much represented and a basic element of the game. So Arche Age is supposed to be an MMO that makes people merge for certain activities like Ultima Online did . If you want to build a house or plant greenstuff you need the folks around you to make that happen. Solid Ideas so far. The Game is using the Crytek Engine 2 for grapical concerns. lets see if there will showup further details on that in the next weeks. Here is a Video Introducing the games’ social life and of course the Screenshots
